Gone Fishin...

Oh man, I can't believe the weekend is already over! We had a fun filled weekend for sure! First of all, I am now officially in the 3rd trimester! I feel good but am now starting to feel "big" therefore having trouble sleeping, getting off the couch, breathing, etc! Oh well- Ryan is SO worth it! We can't wait for our little boy to get here!!!

Here's a cute picture of Bella laying on our bed one morning. She thinks she is the queen bee!! She is in for a rude awakening...

Aidan lost a tooth on Friday! He looks so funny with no front teeth!!


Saturday we went fishing! The weather was beautiful and it was the most perfect day to be outside! Everyone caught a lot of little brim but Matt was the only one who caught the big catfish! It was so fun!
And yes, I was a big girl and baited my own hook and threw the fish back in all by myself!! Haha











Then we went to eat dinner afterwards- we were all sunburned, dirty and tired but it was a great day!

We have a very busy week ahead! Tonight we go to our first Childbirth class and on Wednesday I have another doctor's appointment. At this appointment they will test me for gestational diabetes! Will update soon!

Last Week of the 2nd Trimester

Well, thank heavens I'm almost done with the 2nd trimester! I can't believe it- in some ways it's gone so fast and in some way I don't know how I'll make it to May! Here's my 26 week pic! I'm feeling much better and have been able to eat pretty much regular food (still eating a lot of baked potatoes and macaroni and cheese though!)

Saturday we took our annual trip to Oaklawn to watch the horse run! It was a fun day with the family in Hot Springs! That's the day that I officially got my appetite back- I ate some nachos with jalapenos which probably wasn't a good idea but they were so good!

And this morning on my way to work I was thinking "Man, my stomach kinda hurts." And about 2 minutes I later I think "Oh look- a Shipley's!". Lord knows I stopped and got myself some donuts! Hoping that make Monday a little bit better!

The Sickness.

Well, it seems as though the 3rd trimester is going to be as hard as the 1st was! I didn't write anything about my 1st trimester because we hadn't shared the pregnancy with everyone yet, but it wasn't great. A lot of morning sickness, a lot of crackers, a lot of macaroni and cheese for dinner and VERY early bedtimes!

I got really sick again Tuesday night. Now I'm starting to think that maybe Saturday night wasn't food poisoning- just really bad pregnancy related sickness!

Oh dear Lord help me....

Sick and Snow Weekend

In other news, I got food poisoning this weekend!!! OMG it was so awful!! I've never been so sick! I was sick all night Saturday and all day Sunday and partly Monday. It worked out perfectly because Monday we got a snow day so I had one more day to recover and try to eat some proper food haha!

On a happier note- I am feeling much better and back at work today and today's Valentime's day!!! (yes, I said Valentime's, OK?!)
Matt got me a new bead for my pandora bracelet and I love it! The blue one is new!

My Little Oompa Loompa!!

Haven was in the Willy Wonka play at her school last night and she was an Oompa Loompa! She did so good and was by far the cutest one there, of course :)
Here's she is once it was over- she had to take her costume off cuz there's another performance tonight! She looks funny with an orange face!

Purchases

I bought two things for Ryan today:

This adorable tux onesie that I've been dying to buy him for the past few months!! I think it's so cute!
Two of my cousins are getting married in July so he needed something appropriate to wear haha! (I hate that this picture is with a little girl! Ugh!)



And I also bought him these stickers for his monthly picture! I couldn't resist!!

Nursery Update

Here's the 3rd of 3 paintings for the nursery. I finished this a few weeks ago but I forgot to post it!

This is the painting that I did on the nursery wall 2 weekends ago! I wanted to wait until the hat came in to post a pic! Cowboy hat hanging from a branch over the changing table!

Projects

Well, I've really been working on a lot of projects for the nursery and it's really coming along! Here's the most recent:

Pillow I made out of John Deere fabric for the glider! I was pretty happy with how it came out!

Tie onesie I made out of the same fabric!

Painting I did for a wedding shower centerpiece and gift!

Tree I painted in the nursery next to the changing table. It's not quite down but it's very close! I'll post a picture once it's done!


And here's Henry!! He is Ryan's lovey!! He gets lonely in the nursery so he hangs out with us sometimes haha!

We bought Ryan this outfit last weekend! I think the plaid is too cute!!

And... this weekend Matt got a new truck! It's old one was too small for a car seat and was getting really old so he got a new one this weekend! He's happy! It's an 05 Nissan Titan!
(perfect color for tailgating!!)


Emma went to her winter formal at school this past Saturday as well! Here she is with her date Jay!

I had a lot of fun doing her hair and makeup! She looks gorgeous!

Welp. I'm tired! We had a packed weekend! I ate wayyy too much at our Superbowl parties last night! Matt told me to cheer for the Giants... I told him I was only there for the food :)
