Little Preview...

Here's just a small little peek at our room! This is the headboard that I recovered! I have to get one more thing then I'll post the final product!! I'm tired!

Almost done...

The mantle is DONE! And so is our bedroom! I'll update tomorrow with our room all set up!

I wanted to show yall a before on the master bedroom so here it is:
and I will update that as soon as it's painted!

Also, I updated the mantle a few weeks ago and forgot to post a picture! I went to 4 different stores to get all the flowers and vases to make those arrangements! I had so much fun making them! (the picture will be replaced with a mirror that I'm getting this week!)

Flooring Cont.

So- we are STILL working on getting all the floors in our house done! The bathrooms are tiled and the kitchen and den have laminate but the bedrooms are a whole other story!
The bedrooms still have the original carpet! It's stained and just plain ugly! So, today we bought the carpet and scheduled the installation which will be next week (just in time for Emily's Lingerie Shower at my house next Saturday! Yay!)
Tonight, we are painting our bedroom! It's pretty much white right now and I can hardly stand it!! It'll be a gold/neutral color and I'm so excited for the outcome! AND also this week I'll be recovering our headboard. It's a very gold fabric right now and I'm looking for some sort of a brown colored fabric to recover it with. I've never done that so it could get interesting!

Me and a staple gun... hmm... this could be bad!

Recent Love.

I've been web surfing for a little bit today and I found a few things that I just had to share. Both are from Forever 21.

This jacket is the first. I am SO ready for fall and being able to
wear warm jackets, scarves and coats!! I love love love this jacket! Especially
paired with all those wonderful bangles :)

This is the second one... and it's actually not about the outfit- it's the glasses!!!

I've been wanting to do a few more fashion posts- the things that I'm into lately and some of my recent fashion likes.
Lemme just start by saying that I've become a victim of the "jegging"!! It's pretty much a denim legging! I use to hate them but I tried them on and loved them!! They are so comfy and cute! Mine have little zippers on the bottom! Here's what they look like:


My other new love are these leggings. They're called "liquid leggings". They're as tight as they look haha. But they feel so good and slicky!





And these are hopefully my next purchase!! I saw these at Forever 21 a few weeks ago and just loved them!! I'll probably go back soon... shh!Well that's it for now- my last post showed yall my most recent shoe and accessory purchases as well! Hope yall liked it :)

Birthday Purchases...

Here's what I bought with my gift cards today! First I went to DSW to get some shoes. Let's just say: I love that place! I'm a member there so I get lots of coupons in the mail! (and let's just say- everyone should sign up and become a member because it's free and you get tons of coupons in the mail!) I could spend all day in there!

This is the first pair I got. They're Steve Madden. I've been wanting a pair of nude
heels for a long time! I think these are so wonderful because they'll
go with anything!!! I am absolutely in love with them!!

Here's the second pair I got. They're black suede and Jessica Simpson. Yummy.
I've been wanting a pair exactly like this because, just the like the other pair, they'll go with everything! I can't wait to wear them!

And here's what I got from Charming Charlie. I spent probably a good hour
in there cuz that store is so big and this is all I came out with!
I'm trying to make myself branch out from my regular black and wear more
color! So I got this beautiful blue scarf and bracelet! I absolutely love them!

Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Well, I turned 24 today and I feel old!! I've had an amazing weekend with my family! They made it so special! We celebrated all weekend!
Friday, Matt and I went to dinner and then did some shopping. Saturday, Matt surprised me with presents early! I got home from running some errands and he had flowers and my presents ready! He gave me theses beautiful diamond earrings and a gift card to DSW (my fav!!!!!) He is too sweet!!


Saturday night we celebrated my birthday with both families! We went bowling first! We all had so much fun! And surprisingly both mine and Matt's mom were pretty good little bowlers!!

Then we went to eat at a Mexican restaurant where they made me
wear this hat and sing to me- quite embarrassing!!

Then we went back to our house for cake and presents!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my cake!!!! It's SO perfect!!!

I got some really great presents! A few things I got are: a picture frame, pumpkin decor, 2 gift cards to Charming Charlie and DSW, potpourri, a scarf, Hogs cups, "R" keychain and this beautiful necklace! My father-in-law gave me this sapphire and diamond necklace! It's my birthstone! I love all my presents and am so blessed to have such an amazing family!

I went shopping today and almost used up all of my gift cards! I will post again with the purchases I made!! Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes!! I'm feelin' the love for sure!!

Tailgatin' Saturday

Saturday the Razorbacks played in Little Rock and we tailgated allllll day long!! (no literally- we were there by 8:30am!) We had so much fun! Lots of friends stopped by to hang out, we had lots of food, drinks and music!! I couldn't be more excited that Razorback football is back! I just love this time of year! We had a blast with our friends and family!

Emma's 16th Birthday!

We celebrated Emma's birthday on Saturday night by eating dinner at Carino's and going to the mall and getting her a build-a-bear! The new addition to our family is pictured above: Millie! We had a great time and she got some great present!
