Shelly Came to Visit!!

 Last weekend my cousin Michelle from Meridian came to visit! She came on Thursday and we had so much fun! We ate SO much food, did a lot of shopping and still had time to be lazy!!
Thursday was a crazy day. I had my niece and nephew that day and had plans to take them to do lots of fun stuff before the summer is over! Michelle was due to get in town around 3pm and we were cooking dinner for my whole fam that night! It was a fun day... until Ryan got locked in the car!!!!!! Somehow the doors locked between the time me, Haven and Aidan got out and for me to walk around to get Ryan out!! He was locked in the car (in our garage) for about 25 minutes until the police came and were able to open the doors!!! I was a hysterical MESS!!! It was awful and I felt every single minute go by that my poor baby was stuck inside not understanding why! He was crying and screaming! When I got him out poor thing was so hot and sweaty! I felt like the worst mom ever!!
After we all calmed down from that and let Ryan take a nap we proceeded with our plans for the day! I took the kids to paint their own pottery at Firefly. This is something I do with them every summer and I love doing it! Ryan even painted a light switch cover for his room :)

 Ryan had been having a runny nose the past few days and we thought it was just his allergies like it usually is. My mother-in-law, Sharon, joined us to paint and she held Ryan and noticed that he felt very hot! And he did! I could tell that he had fever! So, I called my mom and then the doctor and made the earliest appointment! We went home to let Ryan have another nap before his appointment and in the meantime Michelle pulls into town! I was so glad to see her and so sad to tell her that we had to leave and take Ryan to the doctor! Matt gets home and we leave for the doctor while my whole fam stays at the house with Michelle and the kids! It was such a crazy day!
Doctor diagnoses Ryan with Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease!! Contagious and no cure!! Oh heavens!!!

Thursday and Friday he was very sleepy, hot and pitiful! But, each day he's doing better and I can tell he feels like his normal self! I felt so bad that he was sick while Michelle was in town! But, we definitely made the best of it! We ran around all weekend doing as much as we could!

 Overall, we did have a great weekend with Michelle being here, I just wish Ryan hadn't gotten locked in the car or Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease!! Haha
