Well it's thank heavens it's Thursday again! It's the end of the work week for me and I've got a fun weekend ahead! Dinner with friends tonight just to catch up and for them to see Ryan! Then dinner again Friday night with more friends for my birthday! Razorbacks play Saturday but sadly that hasn't been going very well recently but I'm still gonna watch gosh darn it!
OK sweets, here's my recent loves/obsessions/confessions, etc!
1. Diet coke. I've tried to quit for YEARS but I just can't. I only have 1 in the mornings but you try and take that away from me and I'll sock you in the face!!
2. These amazing skull boots! I couldn't get a picture of the DSW website but click here to see them! I'm obsessed and I might have to break down and order them very, very soon!!
3. Big chunky necklaces! I confess, I've got the bubble necklace in 2 colors and wear it often! I can't get enough! You want one? Call or Facebook Lavish in Russellville! They ship :) You'll thank me later. (click here for their FB page).
4. This is more of an obsession/frustration. I love Halloween and I LOVE dressing up! But this year I'm getting a little stressed! We do Trunk or Treat at our church every year and this year since it's Ryan's first Halloween I want his costume to be perfect! But, Matt and I also have to dress up and decorate our car! It's hard finding an infant costume that also has coordinating adult costumes that aren't too expensive or embarrassing! (I'll wear anything, Matt on the other hand, will not!!) It's becoming a task, let me tell you! I think I have it figured out, but it hasn't been easy!! And no, we're not going as toast. Sorry.
That's all I got for now folks! Much love!

Waste Away Thursday
Thank heavens it's Thursday! This has been a long week! Ryan has decided to scream for hours before sleeping recently, oh joy! He's asleep right now so I'm taking advantage of it!
Here's some things I'm loving lately!
Banana Boat Sunless Tanning Lotion: This stuff is so great! It's the only tanning lotion I use... and I've tried lots! You can get it at any drugstore for cheap! Don't hesitate to buy it in the darkest color because the light isn't even worth it! (Tip: Apply wearing gloves, then use a kleenex to put the smallest amount on the top of your hands so it looks natural!)
Downton Abbey: If you haven't watched this show on PBS then you need to GET ON IT!! Warning: You will be hooked! Seriously, one of the best shows ever! It's set back in the 1900s and focuses on a wealthy family, their life and home! It's addictive! Season 3 started in the UK this week and I found it posted online! Here's the link if you want to watch it online! All the seasons are here.
Nude nail polish: I found the most perfect nude nail polish today! It took me awhile to pick out the perfect shade but I found it and it looks so nice and clean on my toes! (Tip: Go darker than you think!)
I got the Loreal "Til the Sun Goes Down". It's the 3rd from the right in the picture below.
Etsy: I've been having a lot of success shopping on Etsy this year. I started by getting some things for Ryan, then some jewelry for myself and now onto Christmas shopping! I highly recommend this site! Check Etsy before Ebay or Amazon because I can promise you that it'll be better quality and most likely one-of-a-kind because everything is handmade on Etsy!
That's all I got for today! Happy weekend to all!

Bedroom Reveal!
Well folks, I finally finished our bedroom project! I've been working on it for a long time and I'm so glad it's finally done! I antiqued our bedside tables last week and that was the last part!
Our room! I'm happy with how it came out!
I'll be starting another antiquing project soon and I'll post step by step directions for those of you interested in a lil DIY action!
In other news, Ryan was 4 months this past Friday! Where has the time gone?! He's so big!
In the moby:
He had his 4 month appointment on Friday as well and he did so good! He weighs 15 lbs! Here we are waiting on the doctor... and unfortunately his 4 shots :(
That's all I got from this weekend. No comment on the Razorback game!!! I'm leaving with that.
Oh yea, and if you're obsessed with Dowton Abbey like I am, season 3 episode 1 is on the ProjectFreeTV website! (it aired in the UK last night and doesn't air in the US until January!!) You're welcome.

1st Tailgate of the Season!!
We had our first tailgate of the season last weekend and it was so much fun! We spent all day outside and the weather was perfect! We had lots of friends stop by, BBQ and football! Of course, we won't talk about the game :)
Needless to say we were all pooped after Saturday! Sunday was spent relaxing (we went to lunch to celebrate Emma's 18th birthday though!) and I was still tired on Monday! It was worth it though! Woo Pig Sooie!!

Waste Away Thursday
OK folks, I'm going to try and blog more! I want to branch out farther than what's going on at the Hill house! I want to start a weekly post that includes some confessions of mine, beauty/food/makeup favorites and just random finds to share! I thought I'd call it "Waste Away Thursday" because really, what good is Thursday (as far as the work week)? And it's pretty much the weekend anyways and I don't work on Fridays so it IS my Friday! High five to that...
Anyways, I thought I'd give it a go. Here's my most recent findings/confessions/obsessions:
1. I am currently OBSESSED with filling in my eyebrows. You beauty gurus will understand. Full eyebrows are in. It's just that simple. I use Maybelline's eyebrow pencil in medium brown and love it! Although, it does run out rather quickly so I keep a few on hand.
You can see mine good in this pic! Not filled in too much. If you could see my natural eyebrows you'd see how sparse they are without it though! Hence, the pencil usage.
2. Nuff said.
3. Dry shampoo is the BOMB.COM yall! You don't want to know how many days I go without washing my hair. No seriously, you don't! And that's because a) I'm lazy and have an infant to get ready and out the door as well as myself and b) because Suave makes such an awesome dry shampoo! It smells like skittles AND it's alcohol free! Here's what I use:
4. Crafting. I mentioned this a previous post that I've been doing a lot of crafting lately and I'm almost done with all of my projects. The most recent ones have taken place in our master bedroom. I have recovered a few pillows, the headboard and the bench that's at the foot of our bed! I am loving the chevron print I picked out! I'll post a pic of our whole room when it's all done. I'm working on one last pillow and I want to antique our bedside tables as well. No promises when that's getting done...!!
5. One word. LAVISH. It's the cutest little boutique in Russellville and I could just die over their stuff! I ordered some red skinnies last week and they may or may not be premiered at the upcoming Razorback game, OK?! Let's just say- I ordered them on Tuesday and I got them on Saturday. I was so happy to get them and the fact that they fit! That's huge, yall. Go check them out on Facebook (click here). They post all their new shipments on Facebook and you can order them right there on the photo! Talk about convenient... maybe too convenient... don't tell Matt!
Well, that's all I got for this week ladies! I posted a little early this week, it's already Thursday in my mind. Maybe it's because I'm SO pumped about the Razorback game this weekend?! Maybe. Yep, probably so!
More next Thursday!
