Almost 6 months!!

Well folks, on Friday I'll be 6 months prego! On one hand, I really can't believe it, but on the other hand I can't believe that May is still 3 months away! Ugh!!
Oh well- we are having so much fun! And he's kicking a lot so Matt is loving getting to feel Ryan move!

Here's my 23 weeks pic!

Matt went to the men's retreat at church on Saturday (which my dad spoke at, so proud!) I did a lot of work in the nursery! I hung the paintings above the crib...

finished this painting- it's a wedding present (and will be a centerpiece for the wedding shower)

and I also painted a little something-something on the nursery wall but I'm not ready to reveal that yet! I still have a little work to do on it!
Hope yall had a great weekend! Every weekend the nursery is getting closer and closer to being ready for Mr. Ryan! Matt and I are really loving this time! It's been fun for us to work on these little projects together!
(I'm also working on making a few things for Ryan to give Matt for Valentine's Day- I'll reveal those when I'm done!)

Nursery is Coming Along...

This is 2nd of 3 paintings for the nursery that I did this weekend!

On Saturday we also wallpapered the nursery and put up the crib! It wasn't that bad- just a little messy with all the water!


We absolutely love it!! Ryan has a little log cabin!! It's really coming along!


We also hung the burlap curtains that I made! We are so happy with how it's coming along! We can't wait to meet our little man in May!!

Nursery and Weekend Fun

Well, we painted the nursery this weekend!! And we are sooo tired! My back is killing me!! Saturday morning Matt scraped the popcorn off the ceiling and then we started painting! I think the cleaning up was worse than anything! There was popcorn scrapings everywhere!!

Bella came to work with me one day last week. I swear she poses haha!

Saturday night we went bowling! Of course, I had to sit out but it was still fun watching everyone else play!


Haven is out of school today for MLK day so she's at work with me! We are watching movies and coloring! I love being an aunt :)

Hodge Podge Post

I forgot to post this picture from New Year's! We went to eat and back to our friends house for New Year's! Here's Emily and I!

I registered for this tux onesie for Ryan. You can't tell me that's not ADORABLE?!!!!

This past Saturday was so awesome cuz we did nothing!! It was so great just to lay around and relax! I did make Ryan's curtains out of the burlap material that I bought last week but that took me about 20 minutes! It was so easy! We also cleared out Ryan's room to get ready for painting next week!! I can't wait to get started!
Saturday night we did get out to go eat, buy the paint for the nursery and rent some movies! I love days like that!!

Ryan Update

We did lots of maternity clothes shopping and fabric shopping this past week!
My cousin Brooke came in town so just had to take her shopping! I had some returns to make at a maternity store so everyone came with me! I got a lot of really great clothes- Kirby had a little fun too! I think he's experiencing sympathy pains! I am 19 weeks! Almost 1/2 way there!! (LOVING anything sour! I put about 12 lemons in my water!)

This is the fabric we chose for the bedskirt on Ryan's crib. A very close friend of our family will be making it for us! I am so excited!

We registered yesterday at Babies R Us and it was absolutely exhausting!! We were there for 2 hours and we're still not done!! He is spoiled already!

Christmas Evening

Late Christmas afternoon and evening we celebrated with Matt's extended family on his mom's side. We ate and ate and ate and ate!! Played Michael Jackson for Wii and ate some more!!

Tim and Kristin have a gorgeous home- and I love their tree!!

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning, Matt and I got up and exchanged our presents. Matt did really good this year! He started me a Pandora bracelet! I love it! One of the charms he got me was a baby carriage!

Then we went to my parent's house for presents, monkey bread and pork tenderloin for lunch! Yum!!
Ryan got a ton of stuff at their house! Clothes, toys and books! Here's one of the outfits he got!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was spent with Gary and Jeanette this year at their house! We had a great big dinner of turkey, dressing, corn casserole, green bean bundles, sweet potatoe casserole and lots more!
We played karaoke and spent the evening together opening presents and playing Wii!

We got tons of great stuff! Ryan even got some books!

Christmas Eve Eve

Friday we did our Christmas with Sharon at her house. Every year she makes appetizers, broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl and we wear our pj's!

We got some great stuff- Sharon and Granna bought us the video monitor we wanted for Ryan! We were a little excited about it!
