Pastor's Retirement

 Yesterday was our pastor's last Sunday because he and his wife are retiring from serving in the ministry for 43 years! We are sad to see them go, but we had a fun lunch to honor them! I was in a cute little skit at the luncheon! We had fun doing it! Here it is:

Anniversary Tattoo

Matt and I have wanting to get our fingers tattooed for a long time! We talked about doing it before we got married but we've just never gotten around to it! So, I finally talked Matt into it for our 5 year anniversary and we went last Friday!! I am SO happy with how they came out! It is very special to us and I am so glad we did it!!

William is Married!!

We had a very fun weekend! One of Matt's oldest and best friends got married! Matt was a groomsman and I helped decorate, so we had rehearsal Friday night and then wedding setup and pictures starting at 10am Saturday morning! We are so happy for them and we had so much fun celebrating their relationship!! Can't wait for them to get back from their honeymoon so we can hangout!!

Emma's Play and 11 months!!

Last week I helped host a wedding shower at our church for some of our dear friends William and Jessica who are getting married this weekend!! We can't wait!

Friday I got my hair done then Ryan and I played outside on the deck for a little bit because it felt so good outside!! He loved it!

This past weekend was fun and busy! Emma was in the musical "Beauty and the Beast" at her school! She did so good and we really enjoyed the play!

 Sunday Ryan turned 11 months :(
Time is going by so fast!! Now we'll only one month away from his 1st birthday and I just might die!! I love the stage he's in right now! He reaches out for you to hold him, he says "mama", "dada", "nana" (banana) and "no"! He can hold his own sippy cup, feed himself bites of food and loves to play on his new drum!

 

Here he is at church with his sunglasses on! This is the first time he kept them on! I think it was because he was so tired!

First Haircut!!!

Well, last Tuesday was a big day for Mr. Ryan! He got his first haircut! His hair was getting SO long that we finally decided to get it cut :(
I was sad to see the curls go and I really wanted to wait until after his 1st birthday, but it was getting really bad! We went to a cute kids salon where he got to sit in an airplane and watch Lion King! He was really good the whole time, but started getting fussy towards the end! He was over it at that point! The girls were so sweet and patient and he got to pick out a "treasure" when he was done! Here he is getting his haircut and with the green dinosaur he picked out!
He looks so big now!!

And I didn't even cry :)

Ryan Loves TV!

OMG this boy loves him some TV!! Ryan laughs and dances whenever Scooby Doo, Spongebob or Sesame St. comes on! I love these videos!!

Easter 2013

pulling up on the pack n' play!!

 Matt and I went on a date last Thursday night to a movie and dinner! Before we left:

It was nice to go out just the 2 of us!

Saturday our church had an Easter event for the kids with live bunnies they could hold! Ryan loved it!

Saturday night we celebrated Easter with my family! My mom fixed a huge meal that was delicious and we dyed eggs and watched home videos! We made memories for sure! 

Sunday morning the Easter bunny was definitely good to Ryan this year! He loved going through his basket and playing with all his new toys!!

Then we got all dressed up and headed to church! I almost cried seeing Ryan in his suit and tie!! He looks so big!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We had a great Easter with the fam! After church and lunch Ryan was so worn out! He all went took a nice, long nap!
