Saying Goodbye...

The bathrooms are finally done! We had them tiled last week and they came out great!! We are starting to lay the laminate floors tonight with the help of my dad and Matt's friend William! We are so appreciative of them!! The laminate will be in our kitchen, den and hall.

Saturday we took Kirby to Ouachita! All 6 of us saw his dorm, went to lunch and said goodbye! It was bittersweet! We're so happy for him and excited that he's in college but we're sad to see him go! It'll be weird without him eating dinner with the fam!

Sunday we got a lot done! After church we went to Home Depot and got all new bronze doorknobs (our old ones were a brassy gold!), new fan for the den (gold also!), new light fixture for the guest bath (gold!), and new rug for the den once the laminate is done! Then we went home and started some of those projects! Matt got all the doorknobs change and they look so good! I cleaned out the garage to get ready to lay the laminiate tonight! We were so tired after we got done!

I got to see Haven and Aidan yesterday! Here's a pic of us at lunch after church:

Sisterly Love

The past few weeks whenever I get off a little early from work I've been picking up Emma and we've been running errands, getting icees, ice cream and sno cones! It's been a great summer! We have really enjoyed hanging out and doing things together!
We also made a friendship bracelet- it's pictured below. The friendship bracelet has been to a Justin Bieber concert, the top of Pinnacle Mountain, Las Vegas, Texas, Florida, and now school! It has seen a lot!

Emily's Showers

Two weekends ago Emily and Taylor had 2 wedding showers! The first was a couple's shower and that was really fun! We all brought presents for Taylor! He registered at Home Depot for tools and things for the garage! All our friends were there and we enjoyed dinner from 1620 and good company :)
The second was a shower just for Emily and she got lots of great stuff! I know they can't wait until October 30th!!

Better Late Then Never?

Better late then never, right? Since I haven't posted in forever I figured I'd give a quick update on a few pics:
Here's a cute one I got of Bella! She fell asleep on her toys! Poor thing!

A few weeks ago we went downtown to eat with our parents and get some drinks. Here's Matt and I. That day my friend Emily gave me extensions! I absolutely loved them... but unfortunately I had to take them out because the were so knotted and itched so bad!!! But I want that long hair back so bad!!

Sooo long...

OMG I haven't posted in forever!!! So sorry to the blogging world!! It's been way too long!!

Basically things have been and still are crazy at our house!! We went to Vegas last weekend! It was amazing! We'd never been- we just soaked it all up!! We saw two cirque du soleil shows and they were great! There's a few photos above.

This week is insanity. We are having both our bathrooms tiled, we bought laminate flooring which will be installed on Monday and we take Kirby to Ouachita on Saturday! A crazy week but we are looking forward to all of it! We will be so happy when all of the floors are done! I'm excited about getting that project started... and ended haha!
