The Jeep (yep, the one we just got in March!) wouldn't start on Friday night! Long story short, it was towed on Saturday afternoon and taken to a Jeep dealership. We thought it was something electrical because it wouldn't start after jumping it. When we bought the car we also purchased a full warranty. It covered the towing and we assumed that whatever needed to be fixed would be covered as well. No such luck.
It was the battery! Oh joy! One of the few things that aren't covered on the warranty! So... today at lunch we went to pick the Jeep up and we left... let's just say a lot of money behind!! It was the most painful credit card swipe in a long time!
As Matt and I are getting in the car and going our separate ways he notices that there's a sticker in the top left hand side of the windshield that reads, "24 hr roadside service 501-...."!!! Are you kidding me?!?!??!!!! (saying a lot of bad words!!)
The tow truck guy put an advertisement sticker on our windshield!! A sticker with adhesive- not those ones made for windows that just come right off! Oh no! It was just the icing on the cake! He didn't even ask us! It's gonna take forever to get that adhesive off there!
I was so mad- I grabbed my cell phone so fast and called that number on the sticker! I gave that man a piece of my mind and gave him a little "feedback" from a paying customer!!
I guess the good part of all this is that the Jeep is fixed and we only went 2 days without it!
Let's pray we don't have to use that towing service again!
