34 Weeks

I had my 34 week appointment today! Everything went great. Blood pressure and weight are still good (I didn't gain ANY weight this month! Shocker!!). She said that there is a small amount of protein in my urine but that it wasn't anything to worry about. She said it's such a small amount that it's ok and they check every time I go so they'll know if it changes.

He's still measuring big at 35 cm, which is a week big. We got to have a sonogram today (no pics sorry)! We hadn't had one since I was 17 weeks so we were excited! He was so big on the screen that we could only see a few parts of him at a time! And even then, it was hard to make out at times! Good news- he has dropped!! She said that he will most likely stay head down from here on out- they rarely move once they've dropped! We're so glad that he's not breech!

She measured him and he is weighing in at 5.6 lbs! She said that he'll at least be an 8 lb. baby once he's born! Of course Matt is thrilled about him being big! I reminded him that he's not the one carrying and delivering him haha!

We had our first baby shower this week! Ryan got a lot of great stuff, and he still has 3 more! It was fun getting stuff and putting it away in his room!

Well, we are down to 2 week appointments! They are getting closer and closer! Thanks for all the support and encouragement! We love yall!

1st Baby Shower!

Last night we had our first shower at Matt's work! It was so great! We got tons of great stuff and Aimee did a great job of decorating and organizing all the food! We are so blessed!

Paintings and "Boots"

This past weekend was CRAZY!! I was in 2 performances of our Easter program and... it was Easter haha!

Saturday we went to Build-a-Bear and made a bear for Ryan. We put in a recorder inside with his actual heartbeat on it! It was so cool and it sounds great! I can't wait to give it to him! We named him "Boots"! I will be ordering him some cowboy boots soon- they didn't have any at the store.

Wedding, Painting and Dress Rehearsal

Oh my goodness we had such a busy weekend!!! Last week Matt was out of town for business, I had dress rehearsal for the Easter program at church and I had dinner with one of my closest friends who lives in California!
That's right, Katie was in town for one day only!!! I told her that I MUST see her! I love that girl so much it hurts!!! We caught up over dinner, laughed until we cried and then sadly it was time to say goodbye again :(

I thought these pictures were cute of the puppies! They are so spoiled! Here's our sweet little black beauty!! She'll be 11 in May!

And here's our spoiled rotten princess! This seriously never gets old... virgin Mary haha!! I love it. She'll be 4 in May!

Friday and Saturday I coordinated a wedding for a friend's little sister. It was a lot of fun and everything went perfectly but I was so tired once it was over! No pictures, sorry. I was running around like a mad woman!!

Sunday, I painted in the service while pastor preached! I've done this several times at Grace but never at 1st Church! It was a lot of fun! And let me tell you, this is the fastest painting I've EVER done! I was hurrying to finish it by the end of the service! Still needs a few touch-ups but it was pretty much done!
Everyone loved it and was so sweet. I have actually had quite a few people order a copy for themselves! So, I'll be painting like crazy this week!



Sunday night I had dress rehearsal again for the Easter program. I really love being in the choir and I love the Easter program, but with the weekend we had I am exhausted!! We have practice again Wednesday night then we perform on Good Friday and Easter morning! I am excited about it! Both our families will see the performance and celebrate the Easter weekend together!

Staying Busy...

Last week was fun and relaxing! Everyone at my office was gone for spring break so I had the office all to myself!! It was nice!

Haven was on spring break so she came with me one day. She wanted me to make her a pillow so I showed her a little bit of sewing! She loved it!



Friday I took the day off to go to my doctor's appointment and run some errands. Everything went great and all was normal at the doctor. Ryan is still measuring a week big!

After that I got a pedicure and it was so nice and much needed! I can't reach my feet very well anymore so it was pretty much necessary :) at least that's what I told Matt... shh...!!

Then I had lunch with the fam and then my mom, Emma and I did a little shopping! We went to Babies R' Us and mom bought Ryan his giraffe mat! It's so cute and soft! I know he will love it! The dogs thought it was their new bed though...




Saturday Matt went fishing all day (and came back with an awful sunburn!) so I took the opportunity to get things done around the house! One of the things I did (and the last of the nursery projects!) was paint this cowboy silhouette in Ryan's closet! I thought it was a cute little touch...

And here's a painting I did for our cafe' at church! (I told you it was a slow week at work :) )

On Wednesday I will 8 months prego! I seriously can't believe it! Ryan could safely be here in 37 days!!!!! If that's not scary...

JuJu's Birthday!

Sunday was my mom's birthday! We celebrated it Saturday by Dad grilling out burgers! Then she opened her presents and as you can tell she was shocked! We got her a Kindle and she already loves it!


Sunday we walked the Two Rivers bridge and I took Bella with us! She was so funny! After a little while she just plopped down and stopped walking! She was so tired and thirsty! It was so funny that we had to get a picture with her being all dramatic! She's definitely domesticated that's for sure!!

Bowling... Again?!!

Well folks, here's my 29 week pic! I know... big belly!! Trust me, I can tell that I'm getting bigger! Sleeping and getting around in general are getting harder to do! I also would LOVE an extra set of lungs that weren't being squashed by a 4 lb. baby!! But, I guess I'll have to wait til May!

Saturday we went bowling again. I know. AGAIN! And I can't even bowl!! (pregos aren't suppose to)

On another note, daylight savings time sucks big time!! I was so tired yesterday morning and I'm still so tired this morning! And it made it worse to wake up to complete darkness!! Hello- that doesn't help!!
