Also- my Mary Kay debut party is this Saturday! It's going to be so much work but I'm so excited! Also I think one of my friends is going to join my team! Hopefully we can meet this week and get her signed up!

Mary Kay Madness!
So, last week Christine joined my Mark Kay team! I'm so excited for her!
I also had a Facial Class Party on Saturday and it went great! It was my first party- and it was almost $500 in sales! This week I have a party on Thursday night and Saturday afternoon! The quarter is over on 3/15 so I'm trying to reach my sales goal before then!
I have exceeded my goals! My first week in Mary Kay my goal was to become familiar with the products and buy inventory. Well, it's not even a month and I have bought $200 more inventory than I planned on and will have had 3 parties and booked my Debut Party!
Speaking of Debut... my Debut Party is Saturday, April 4th from 11am-1pm. Anyone that is available on that morning please stop by! It is just a casual come and go setting where my Director and I will be showing off our products. Also, Janice Maddux will be there as well representing Pampered Chef and showing us some recipes!
It's going to be a lot of fun and I'm so glad it's booked! It's been a very busy week so far... I'm already tired and ready for the weekend! But my work has definitely paid off and I can't believe this Mary Kay thing is actually working out- and I'm loving it!

It's A Good Day!!
I don't really know why- but I'm really happy today! I just feel so encouraged! I spoke with a friend this past weekend (hey Christine!) about selling Mary Kay and my director and I are signing her up on Sunday! I'm so happy to have her on my team!
And just now I got off the phone with my cousin in Mississippi and I convinced her to sell Mary Kay as well! Go team!
I think it would be funny if my cousin and I both sold Mary Kay... Mary Kay cousins haha! Love you Michelle :)
I'm so encouraged that these girls wants to sell and have the courage to start their own business. I never thought I'd have 2 team members in less than a month into Mary Kay! I'm just loving it so much because it's mine. It's my business and I'm in control of my success and future. I'm excited to see my friends do the same!
It hasn't even been a month that I've been selling Mary Kay and I have already learned so much about myself, the business and people. It is such a blessing to be apart of such a motivational, rewarding and encouraging group!
I wish my team many wonderful years of success, happiness and pure joy selling Mary Kay and being apart of the company. It's so much fun! Love yall!

The Beauty Business
I'm delivering my first order tomorrow! I'm so excited! It's getting a little stressful, though! I want to get people their products quickly and on time!
I love making these women happy by supplying them with products that make them even more beautiful! This is a whole new experience for me! Lately, I've pretty stressed about it. I'm not good with math or busines... haha! I guess that's not good!
No, but seriously it's fun and I like knowing that I'm doing this and this is my business!

Book Worm
I'm not a reader!!
But my best friend told me that she loved Twilight and couldn't put it down. I was hesitant. I didn't want to read Twilight because everyone read it and is obsessed with it!
So... I read it... and I couldn't put it down! I finished it in 6 days! Now I'm onto New Moon and am halfway in 1 day! What's gotten into me?? Edward Cullen?! Haha!!

Lazy Days
Friday I stayed home from work because I wasn't feeling well. It was nice to stay home all day! Saturday I convinced Matt to not go anywhere and stay home so we could be lazy together... and that's exactly what we did! We had a dinner to go to that night but we laid around all day! It was so nice! Even better, today after church we rented movies and had a movie marathan and were lazy again! This past week was so busy and this week will be even worse- we take advantage of these lazy days!

25 Random Facts
This is a Facebook thing- but I think it's fun so I wanted to put it on my blog too! I don't know how to tag people on here- so you're all tagged! Haha!
Here are the rules. Copy this into a blog on your site and tag me back with your responses after you have replaced mine. Send it to whomever else as well, and have fun.
1. I married the man of my dreams on May 24th, 2008 and am loving every second of it! Married life truly is a wonderful blessing! It has taught me so much about myself!
2. I am OBSESSED with our two dogs. Matt had Sadie (7 yr old black Lab) already and she joined our family when we got married and we bought Bella (8 month old Boxer puppy) a month after our wedding. They really are are children (if you think I'm joking just ask our friends!)
3. I am OCD. I organize, clean, straighten, etc. all the time. If our apartment is messy I can't sit down. It must be clean (this is difficult with 2 large dogs... and a husband!)
4. Shopping is my therapy. There's something about having something new that just cheers me right up! If that doesn't make you feel better I don't know what will!
5. Betsey Johnson is my hero. Look her up (www.betseyjohnson.com)
6. I will have an Escalade before I die. End of story. (If that means I'm 90 and cruising around in an Escalade...then so be it).
7. I have been sick more since I've been married then in my whole life! (OK, not really. But, I have been sick a lot in the past 8 months!)
8. Every two weeks (religiously) you can find me at Asian Nails getting my nails filled.
9. I paint Bella's nails! She's a princess and deserves to get pampered!
10. I have this funny voice that I talk in and it always makes Matt laugh... then I laugh.
11. I watch SpongeBob. I think it's the funniest show ever.
12. I only wear designer jeans.
13. I have had 2 rounds of braces, 2 retainers, dozens of spacers, and 2 permanent retainers (one of which I still have).
14. I have a black thumb. All the plants I buy die in like 2 days!
15. I'm a people person. I hate being by myself!
16. I get to take Bella to work with me! It's awesome! She just lays under my desk and sleeps!
17. I hate living in an apartment! Hopefully, we'll have a house soon!!
18. I know absolutely nothing about sports and don't care to!
19. I have 7 piercings and 1 tattoo.
20. I am addicted to Diet Coke. Have been for years! I've tried quitting but I just keep going back to it! It beats water any day!
21. If someone would have told me 6 years ago that I was going to marry Matt Hill I would have laughed in your face!
22. I'm an AWFUL driver!
23. I'm getting more like my mother everyday and I'm OK with that! She's a pretty cool lady!
24. Secretly all I want to be is a trophy wife!!!!
25. I have naturally curly hair that I usually straighten! We all want what we can't have!

Premiere
Tuesday morning I won free tickets to see the Pink Panther 2 premiere on the radio! It was last night so, Matt and I went to see it and it was really funny! I guess I'm easily entertained!
I was so proud of winning those tickets too... well I really didn't "win" them! One of the radio station's DJ's was giving away tickets in the Kroger parking lot and it was on my way to work! Why not?! So- I "picked up" free tickets! Haha! Either way- they were free ;)

Moved
The past few days I really have been wrestling with making a certain change in my life- not a big one- but a change. I was led to let go of something "worldly" that I was really almost obsessed with. I can't remember the last time that I felt like God was asking me to let go of something so strongly. It has really been tugging at my heart and I couldn't stop thinking about it! I guess you know that's when it's God will- when you can't ignore it any longer!
It's not easy- but I know that I will be so much better off once I do His will. I already feel better about my decision and know that God will fill the place where this worldly obsession once was!
He can't be ignored!!

Update
Just to give an update on Bella-
She is doing a lot better! The vet gave her a great report on Saturday and he said that she made a miraculous turn around and responded great to the antibiotics! She got to come with us Friday night and had to return for a few hours on Saturday for more medicine.
The oral antibiotics he sent us home with made her sick last night- so we are going to cut back on those a little bit and only give them to her once a day. Hopefully she won't throw up tonight!

Warning: May Be Too Graphic for Some!
This morning Bella had left us a wonderful stinky surprise when we woke up! A HUGE pile of diarrhea! I took her out right before I was to leave for work (I didn't want her having diarrhea all over the apartment) and her she had bloody diarrhea! So, of course I start freaking out!
I immediately called the vet and they had an opening so I ran her to the
vet really quick and had to leave her so I could go to work and because they needed to do a stool test. The nurse told me that the vet would call me once he had looked at her.
So I had to go to work and worry about her all morning!! Finally the vet called me around 12:15! The first thing he said was, "Bella is very sick!" Scared me to death!!!!
We talked on the phone for almost 30 minutes and he said Bella had either ate something non-eatable (i.e., rock, squirrel, etc) or she licked/ate something with bacteria (i.e. water,
bird poop, etc). He thinks that she licked some water or bird poop and has gotten some bad bacteria from it... gastro-bacteria? (he used big words! I don't know the exact name of it!) and it is making her very sick.
He said that he tested her stool and that she has the most amount of blood in her stool as possible and had a fever of 105!! He thinks that she will be OK but he wanted her to come back first thing in the morning. He is going to put her on antibiotic through an IV and will do that
all day tomorrow too. He is letting us take her home over night but she can't have anything to eat or drink. I really wanted to bring her home though- so he said he thought that it would be OK.
I was crying on the phone- I was so worried about her! I just wanted to pick her up and hold her! This is my child we're talking about!! Obviously, Matt and I are extremely upset and worried about this. I had to go back to work was literally hardly able to work- I just keep crying!!
Around 2, Matt called Dr. Beam to see if Bella was doing any better and talk to him himself! The vet said that her fever is down to 102 (dogs temp is usually 101). So, that is very good. He said that he tried to do an X-ray to see if she had swallowed anything whole and he couldn't do it because she was squirming everywhere! He said he couldn't get her to lay down still!! Thankfully her behavior hasn't changed!
He told Matt that she has gastro-bacteria- it affects dogs basically like it would food poisoning to humans. Dr. Beam was in much higher spirits and said that he expected her to be almost 100% by this weekend. He said he felt totally comfortable with us taking her home tonight and bringing her back in the morning.
She also won't sit still to get an IV- so he's just giving her shots of antibiotics every few minutes. We are picking her up tonight!!! I'm so excited! Needless to say we won't be leaving the apartment all weekend! We'll be taking care of our poor baby!!
P.S. Sorry that we're so obsessed with our dogs... it'll only get worse with kids! Haha

Our Kids Are Quite Hairy!!
Anyone that knows Matt and I knows that Sadie (7 yr old black Lab) and Bella (8 mo old Boxer puppy) are our children. We are 100% obsessed with them: with their wellness, happiness, health, eating habits, pooping habits, playtime, toys, treats, etc. We care so much about their happiness and enjoyment of their life. We make sure they are taken out often, get treats when they're good, and don't stay home alone too long. They are absolutely spoiled rotten! They are allowed on the furniture, on the bed (sometimes!), and to jump/lick us!
I don't want to know how much money we've spent on them over the past 8 months! They both take vitamins and Sadie takes a thyroid pill everyday! They take more medicine than we do!
What's so funny to me is that they are absolutely in love with Matt! They want to be beside him at all times! When he sits down they jump in his lap (see pictures)! They love him so much! I guess it's because he's the man of the house or something?
Last night, the dogs completely bombarded Matt while we were watching TV. I thought it was funny!
Matt and I catch ourselves talking about the dogs and just laugh and say, "They're spoiled rotten!"
Here's the pics:

Lazy Winter Days
To be completely honest- Matt and I have been totally lazy the past day! Yesterday we got off work early due to ice (roads weren't bad at all but I'm not complaining!). We spent the day watching our favorite TV shows, playing with the dogs and just sitting on the couch doing nothing! It was great! We were such lazy bums! I like to take advantage of days like that because it seems like we're always busy and running around!
I checked Facebook and Myspace WAY too much, played on my iPhone, did a little laundry and watched American Idol! A day well spent! Matt made us dinner which was great! He 's a great cook!
Today we're back at work and the sun is shining... I guess that means we can't be lazy anymore!

iLove
Matt got the iPhone a few weeks ago and he absolutely loves it. I started playing with it and of course fell in love with it as well. So... I had to go get one for myself! Friday I broke down and got the iPhone for myself! I love it! We are both still trying to figure it out! It's amazing how much this phone can do!
It's taking me awhile to get it set up... so I'm gonna get back to adding songs to it!
